Richard has an extensive background in multi-family, single-family, and mixed-use infill land sales. He brings unparalleled market knowledge and experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and business analyst to his role as Senior Vice President and his successful infill residential land practice in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Since joining Land Advisors Organization in 2005, Richard has played an integral role in the sale of more than 5,800 units/lots for consideration exceeding $940 million.

In 2011, Richard received the “Broker of the Year Award” as the top producing broker for Land Advisors’ California Division, and he has consistently ranked amongst the top five producers for the firm.

Prior to joining Land Advisors Organization, Richard served as a CPA in public practice and he was a business analyst for Vulcan Materials Company, Inc. Richard played an integral role in the transition of the $1 billion acquisition of CalMat Company to Vulcan’s Western Division. In the first year following the acquisition, Richard identified and incorporated cost saving initiatives, which saved the company $10M+ per year.

Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a licensed California real estate broker and a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
