Jay Mason

Jay Mason brings 20+ years of real estate experience. The first 18 of those years was focused solely on residential and spent at PulteGroup. Jay was a National VP for PulteGroup, which builds Centex, Pulte, Del Webb, John Wieland, and DiVosta managing the strategy and land acquisition processes of 28 Divisions and consulted on land valuation and negotiations. Prior to the Home Office position in Georgia, Jay led Divisions and/or Regions in strategic growth of homebuilding and land acquisition objectives in Texas and Florida. He was also a Division VP of Sales for 2 years in Dallas.

Since his time at PulteGroup, Jay has been a partner in a variety of real estate deals across many sectors of the industry: retail, commercial, mixed-use, multi-family, industrial, and SF and TH residential. He is an expert at the residential entitlement process as well as land acquisitions.

Before his career in real estate, Jay earned a Ph.D. in quantitative political science from the University of Texas at Austin and taught at the college level for 10 years. He published various books and articles. Since 2017, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate in the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. Jay holds various philanthropic and leadership positions in the community of Sandy Springs, Georgia, and is especially active in the Episcopal Church.
