The Groves is located southwest of Redlands Boulevard and California Street in the City of Loma Linda. The future new home communities will consists of 103 detached motorcourt cluster lots and 52 estate lots. At the time of this sale, these two planning areas represent the last remaining single-family detached lots available within The Groves Specific Plan. Lennar will also be constructing several Community Benefit Improvements, including a large public park. The buyer developed the adjacent community of Citrus Trails.
The Groves is a unique master-planned community located within the heart of Loma Linda. The City of Loma Linda is a highly sought-after submarket, because it is a mature community with premier regional facilities and academic instructions. There are currently no actively selling communities within the City, so The Groves will provide much needed new housing to the region. Loma Linda is also considered the only “Blue Zone” in North America and one of only five regions in the world where residents live considerably longer than average.
