Maxium Golf acquired the Tiffany Greens Golf Club and a developer purchased the remaining 834 acres of developable land surrounding the golf club in two separate, but concurrent, sales.
Kansas City, Kansas (January 12, 2026) – Land Advisors Organization’s Kansas City office announces two significant sales involving Tiffany Greens Golf Course and its surrounding land for undisclosed amounts. The two separate transactions include the sale of the historic Tiffany Greens Golf Club, which was purchased by Maxium Golf, and the sale of 834 acres of developable land surrounding the Tiffany Greens Golf Club to an unnamed developer. The seller in both transactions was Atrium Hospitality, which was represented by Dan Whitney with Land Advisors Organization.
Tiffany Greens Golf Club, which opened in 1999 as a destination golf community with a 72-par PGA golf course and high-end residences in the northland of Kansas City, was purchased by Maxium Golf, a Midwest golf and recreational management consulting firm located in Kansas City. Maxium will take over the management and operations of the 216-acre golf course and its 27,000 square-foot clubhouse that includes a golf shop, restaurant, banquet facility, locker rooms, club storage and related amenities. The Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course has hosted numerous PGA tournaments over the years and remains fully operational for play. Maxium plans to focus on updating various aspects of the golf course and making improvements to its hospitality facilities in the near future.
In a separate transaction, which was required by the seller to occur concurrently to the sale of the Golf Club, a developer purchased the 834 acres of land surrounding the golf club. The currently vacant land surrounding the golf course and club is planned and approved for a variety of residential, office and commercial uses, including 1,873 residential units and lots, and up to 1,714,000 square feet of office and commercial development along with 240 acres of open space.
The Tiffany Greens property was the vision of John Q. Hammons, a hospitality mogul with a storied past. Upon the death of Hammons, Atrium Hospitality purchased a portfolio of his former properties and operated the golf course along with various hotels in the area while finalizing future development plans for the property. Located along the I-29 corridor that leads to Kansas City International Airport, the area has been one of the most active areas in the metro in recent years. Being experts in hospitality, Atrium Hospitality determined that with the growing market activity it was time to sell the two properties but required the Golf Club property to be sold at the same time as the surrounding acreage.
Whitney successfully identified buyers for both properties and guided the complex dual transactions through to completion on December 16, 2025. Having extensive experience in master-planned community development, the Land Advisors Organization team also provided financial modeling for the property’s build-out and various options for structuring the terms of the residential land transaction, which were accepted by all parties.
