Blue Mountain Homes Acquires 28 Townhomes Units in Granite Bay
Irvine, CA September 6, 2018 – Blue Mountain Homes has acquired a 28 unit townhome site within the Granite Bay community. Land Advisors Organization, a nationwide advisory firm focused on the acquisition and disposition of land and land-related assets, represented the Seller, Maverick Partners West, in this transaction. The terms were not disclosed.
The Property, known as “Eureka at Granite Bay,” is located near the highly-coveted northwestern shore of Folsom Lake. Eureka at Granite Bay is comprised of 28 two-story townhomes and offers four floorplans that range in size from 1,978 square feet to 2,600 square feet. All 28 townhomes will feature two-car garages, as well as indoor and outdoor living options, creating an open and elegant sense of living. Jim Radler, Senior Vice President at Land Advisors, notes, “Eureka at Granite Bay offers the community a unique opportunity to construct much needed new housing stock at an affordable price.”
The unincorporated community of Granite Bay is known for its lavish homes and exclusive gated communities, but perhaps its top-ranking public school districts are what sets this community apart from other cities in the Placer and Sacramento Counties. Eureka Union School District (EUSD) is in the top 5% of California School Districts, and Granite Bay High School—apart of the Roseville Joint Union High School District—is a National Blue Ribbon School and is one of two schools in the district to offer an International Baccalaureate program.
As California grows to be one of the most competitive states for secondary education, societal focus has shifted from high school graduation rate to college acceptance rates that include International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs. Granite Bay High School’s established IB and AP programs ensure a strong college acceptance rate, all the while providing an education that is considered priceless in the state of California. Areas that have strong public school districts, like Granite Bay, have seen an influx of residents and as a result, the demand for housing, which will only continue to grow as California’s secondary education system continues to be known as the most competitive in the nation.
With its premier location and school district zoning, Radler finishes, “I expect Blue Mountain Homes will have a very successful project with Eureka at Granite Bay.”
