Land Advisors Organization is pleased to announce the successful closing of approximately ±39.91 acres in the City of Shafter, California, a transaction that demonstrates the value of identifying and executing on a property’s highest and best use.
Located along East Lerdo Highway, the property had historically been associated with agricultural use. However, changing market conditions, surrounding residential growth, limited long-term agricultural viability, and the area’s future development potential created an opportunity for ownership to realize substantially greater value through a transition to residential use.
Recognizing those factors, Land Advisors Organization helped position the asset, connect ownership with qualified buyers, and successfully navigate the transaction process to completion.
The property is expected to accommodate approximately 185 future homes, supporting Shafter’s long-term growth objectives and contributing to the housing opportunities needed throughout California’s Central Valley. As many communities continue to face housing shortages, projects like this play an important role in providing additional housing inventory while directing growth to locations already suited for future development.
