Related Group Purchases 20 Acres Bordering Maitland’s Lake Hope for $10 Million

Orlando, FL (August 22, 2017) – Land Advisors Organization Orlando team of Steve Flanagan and Mike Ripley, acting as transaction broker, arranged the $10 million sale of 20 acres bordering Maitland’s Lake Hope to Miami-based, Related Group. The buyer plans its first multifamily project in Greater Orlando, to later be supported by 130,000 square feet of surrounding retail, potential office space and a hotel.

Located at 601 Trelago Way, the 20.1-acre parcel will eventually have direct access to W. Maitland Boulevard after further land acquisitions. The sale deed was recorded Friday, August 18, 2017 in Orange County. Planned Development zoning for the overall 96-acre site, known as Maitland Concourse North, was approved in 2016 by the city. Related Group representatives filed site work construction permits on Thursday, August 17, 2017.
