About
Richard brings 25 years of real estate experience as a developer and homebuilding executive to the nuanced land sales arena. His expertise supports land sellers through value creation, coupled with a real-world understanding of what builders need to grow their business in today’s market. Richard specializes in strategically positioning and marketing land to unlock its full potential for landowners, while mitigating the risk that developers must manage. He is a rare blend of strategic leader, coach, and operator.
Richard brings the operational and financial discipline experience needed to scale businesses, enter new markets, and consistently deliver investment potential in a competitive land development landscape. He has held senior leadership roles with both publicly and privately owned builders and developers, including VP of Sales and Marketing for Pulte Homes – AZ, Area President for Shea Homes – WA, and President of BDR Holdings – WA.
From launching award-winning master-planned communities and successful family home subdivisions to leading multimillion-dollar custom home divisions, he has consistently delivered results by developing leaders, elevating brands, and executing with clarity. Behind each of these real estate successes was a strategically positioned land acquisition.
Recently, Richard co-founded a personal development and coaching firm serving both individuals and organizations. He has worked closely with builders, business owners, and real estate professionals to strengthen leadership, navigate team dynamics, and grow businesses aligned with their mission and goals. His unique background allows him to speak the language of real estate while understanding the needs and desires of sellers with insight, empathy, and precision.
Active in the community, Richard has served on multiple profit and non-profit boards, including being the President of Eastside Catholic School’s Board of Trustees. A certified executive coach (CTI, PCC), he also holds a finance degree from the University of North Texas and has completed executive programs at Columbia Business School and the Center for Creative Leadership. He and his wife frequently facilitate retreats across several states, serving individual’s and couples.
