Hailing from the heart of California’s Central Valley, Kurtis brings with him a wealth of agricultural expertise honed over years of hands-on experience.

A proud alumnus of California State University, Fresno, Kurtis laid the groundwork for his professional journey by earning his bachelor’s degree. Building upon this foundation, he furthered his education by completing a Master of Business Administration at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, showcasing his commitment to excellence and continuous growth.

Kurtis’s dedication to service extends beyond the boardroom, as evidenced by his six years of honorable service in the United States Army, including a pivotal one-year deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This experience instilled in him a sense of discipline, leadership, and resilience that he brings to every endeavor.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Kurtis finds joy and fulfillment in his role as a devoted husband and father to two daughters, calling the vibrant community of Clovis home. His love for the outdoors knows no bounds, with skiing, wake surfing, hunting, golfing, and a myriad of other outdoor activities occupying his leisure time.
