Land Advisors Organization Houston Team Manages Sale of 63.5 Acres

HOUSTON (June 22, 2020) – Land Advisors Organization’s Houston team is pleased to announce the sale of approximately 63.5 acres, which is Sections 2 and 3 of Fairway Farms, Harris County, Texas to Century Land Holdings of Texas, LLC.

The sale was arranged by Kirk Laguarta and Duane Heckmann of Land Advisors Organization’s Houston office on behalf of the property owner. The property, which is located just east of FM 2978 along Hufsmith Cemetery Road off Bogs Road in Tomball, Texas, is comprised of 170 lots within a master-planned community.

“The property is particularly appealing because Century expects to be able to have lots on the ground in six to nine months, weather permitting. That’s always attractive for homebuilders,”said Duane Heckmann with Land Advisors Organization’s Houston team.

The site is ideally located adjacent to Ray Burroughs Park, a 320-acre park with amenities that include more than eight miles of nature and walking trails, a seven-acre fishing lake, sports fields, picnic areas, observation decks and a boardwalk, restroom facilities and an award-winning outdoor pavilion.

“The sale of this site to Century Land Holdings of Texas helps them to meet projected future lot needs in the Houston market,” said Kirk Laguarta with Land Advisors Organization’s Houston team. “While there were challenges with closing the transaction, our client and Chris Chew with Century were great to work with and we were able to successfully close the land deal thanks to the strong home sale numbers over the past few months.
