April 22, 2016 (Scottsdale, AZ) – Land Advisors Organization (LAO) is committing to create awareness of Earth Day, and take action to protect our shared environment by giving each employee a tree to plant. “We purchased native specimens from a local farm and asked our employees to be a part of the largest and most active citizen engagement campaign on Earth, by simply giving back to our planet,” says Director of Marketing & Communications, Stacy Bayless.

Earth Day is the largest, most recognizable face of the environmental movement. All across the world, in big cities to small villages and everything in between, people are organizing, demanding climate action, cleaning up their local communities, meeting with their elected officials, planting trees, and teaching children to protect our planet.

“As the nation’s largest brokerage firm focused exclusively on land, protecting it is important to us. Earth Day is something that we can involve our 23 offices in 10 states across the country,” states Brian Rosener, president of Land Advisors Organization. Trees reverse the impacts of land degradation, and provide food, energy, and income. They help communities achieve long-term economic and environmental sustainability. Trees filter the air and help stave off the effect of climate change both globally and locally. This year Earth Day Network is focusing on the urgent need to plant new trees and forests worldwide. Earth Day Network is pledging to plant 7.8 billion trees worldwide.
