Lee Aarons Vice President
Lee Aarons specializes in representing clients seeking residential and mixed-use opportunities in Los Angeles County and Orange County. He brings over twenty years of experience in high-end residential and land sales with consideration exceeding $1.3 billion.
At the age of 23, Lee joined the high-end residential firm Arlington Residential in his native London, England. He went on to become the firms highest grossing sales person over the next eleven years, selling a billion dollars of high-end residential homes throughout London’s St. John’s Wood, Hampstead, and Regents Park areas.

Capri Barney Northern Arizona Advisor
Northern Arizona Advisor Capri Barney focuses on the rapidly developing Yavapai, Coconino, Mohave, Gila and Navajo County areas. Capri provides broad insights on land transactions, drawing from her extensive experience in the homebuilding, title and legal industries. Josh Cameron is a metropolitan statistical area advisor bringing more than 20 years of industry experience in land disposition and acquisition and all phases of the land-use lifecycle. As a Co-Founding Principal of Land Advisors Organization-Washington Division, Scott leverages his twenty five years of experience in the real estate industry as a trusted advisor and broker to a wide array of valued clients including publicly traded and private homebuilders, developers, investors, financial institutions, private parties and master planned community & resort developers.
Scott began his career with East West Partners where he served as a sales consultant and marketing director for master planned community sales. He then became a founding partner in The Lakemont Company, an East West Partners Company. Scott later co-founded Coldwell Banker Bain New Homes and was an executive with Bennett Homes before launching the Cameron Real Estate Group in 2003 which transitioned into the Cameron Land Group in partnership with Wes Falkenborg.

Wesley Campbell Advisor
Wes Campbell began his career at Land Advisors Organization in 2013 as an intern while completing his degree at Arizona State University. During this time Wes worked specifically in the Land Advisors Resorts Division on projects across the United States, Mexico and the Bahamas.
After obtaining is Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in May of 2016, Wes returned to work specifically on Arizona based projects. He specializes in custom lot communities, single family and multifamily infill sites, as well as investor and home builder purchases. Wes’s daily roles include creating property marketing materials, client communication, and analyzing market data.
Wes is actively involved in projects throughout the valley and works in concert with several of the Scottsdale Based brokers.
Jeff Carlson Managing Director – Land Advisors Capital
Jeff is a 30-year industry veteran, former CPA and Division President of a top ten public homebuilder. During his last year at Meritage Homes, his Division closed approximately 1,500 homes. He has deep expertise in all aspects of homebuilding; from land acquisition and development, finance, sales and marketing. As a former general contractor, Carlson started two custom homebuilding operations where he gained an appreciation for all facets of running a small business.
During the recent downturn, Carlson aligned with a hedge fund and several high net worth investors in order to target distressed real estate projects, mostly in Arizona. The group ultimately controlled nearly 2,000 single family lots and 35 partially finished homes. Carlson was responsible for all aspects of the asset management and disposition.
Carlson spent several years in the banking industry where his focus was debt restructuring and non-performing loan workouts.

Brian began his career at Grubb & Ellis with the Industrial Land Division. Brian participated in transactions totaling over $50 million, where he leased and/or sold over 1.5 million square feet of industrial product and more than 2,600 acres of land. He later transferred to Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach office to specialize in the sale of residential subdivisions.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Finance from the University of California at Riverside, where he was also a member of the baseball team. He is a licensed California real estate professional.
John Carroll Tucson MSA Advisor
Metropolitan Statistical Area Advisor John Carroll focuses on the marketing of residential land and investment properties in Pima County.
As a fifth-generation resident of Tucson, John has experienced first-hand Pima County’s significant growth, and he applies this knowledge to generate nuanced market insights for clients. Randy Coe Senior Vice President

Randy earned the title of Top Salesperson in 2006 and 2008 and has consistently been ranked in the top 10% of the firm’s producers since he started at Land Advisors.
Before his tenure at Land Advisors, Randy spent 13 years as a commercial and industrial broker with Grubb & Ellis Company and three years with Colliers International.
Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Real Estate from California State University, Long Beach. He is a licensed California real estate broker, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), member of the Urban Land Institute, member of the Building Industry Association, and member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Randy spends his spare time playing soccer and volleyball and volunteers regularly at the Orange County Rescue Mission.
Rob Conroy Associate
Robert (Rob) Conroy is an Associate for Land Advisors Capital. Mr. Conroy creates valuation and financial models to assist in the advisory of the firm’s institutional, hedge fund, and private equity clients. Land Advisors Capital provides solutions from deal formation to execution throughout all positions in the capital stack.
Prior to joining Land Advisors Capital, Rob worked as an Investment Associate at Heritage Reef Capital with responsibility for investing across multiple asset classes and geographies, specifically focused on currencies and commodities. He deployed a top-down framework to analyze global economic patterns and imbalances in order to extrapolate investable themes. In this role, Rob advised institutional investors on his global economic outlook, and screened investment opportunities based on their risk/reward profile.
Before joining Heritage Reef Capital in 2012, Mr. Conroy began his career as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at Apex Consulting where he performed financial due diligence for the $250 Million acquisition of Sigma, a medical pump company, by Baxter International (NYSE: BAX).
Mr. Conroy holds a Masters of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and graduated with a B.S. in Entomology from Cornell University.
Tony Eaton President-CA Division
Tony brings decades of leadership, real estate brokerage, and finance experience to his role as President of Land Advisors Organization - California Division. He began his career in land brokerage in 2007 and has since been directly responsible for the purchase and sale of more than 9,000 residential lots with total consideration exceeding $750 million. Tony’s primary expertise is in the sale of master planned communities in California, but he has also participated in the sales of residential and commercial land in Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Prior to joining Land Advisors, Tony was the Vice President - Land Disposition for The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the nation’s premier developers of master planned communities with 10,500 acres and approximately 42,000 residential lots in California and Nevada. Tony began his career in real estate when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of O’Donnell/Atkins, California’s largest land brokerage firm at the time. Tony previously held positions of increasing responsibility from financial analyst to controller and eventually Chief Financial Officer of various publicly traded and private firms.
Tony graduated from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree and received a commission in the United States Marine Corps in 1988. During his service, Tony spent five years at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in an F/A-18 squadron where he accumulated more than 1,000 hours of flight time in the Hornet. Prior to joining Land Advisors, Michel successfully led a large sales team at Systems Paving, Inc. covering Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. Michel is a native of South Africa and before he immigrated to California in 2000, he was a financial manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers and a small business owner in Johannesburg.
Michel holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Witwatersrand and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Wits Business School, both in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed a semester of his M.B.A. at the Luigi Bocconi Business School in Milan, Italy. A Rock Hill, South Carolina native, Hayes earned his bachelor's degree from Clemson University. He lives in Charlotte with his wife and son. Previously, he worked as a broker in the multifamily and retail sectors in Greenville, SC.
Steve Flanagan Senior Advisor, Designated Broker
Steve Flanagan opened the first Land Advisors Organization office in Florida in January 2009. He brings a consultative, value-added approach to advisory services, concentrating on the acquisition and sale of large-scale land assets ranging from subdivisions to master planned residential and mixed-use developments.
Since beginning his career in 1967 with Aetna Realty Investors, Steve has developed strong expertise in real estate finance, negotiating equity investments and joint ventures, managing corporate and real estate loan workouts, and liquidating assets in a timely and effective manner. A corporate real estate restructuring assignment with Drexel Burnham Lambert Realty brought Steve to Central Florida in 1980, where he has lived and worked ever since.
In 1990, following a 10-year career in multifamily development, Steve began advising large, high-profile clients such as Colonial Properties Trust, Trizec-Hahn, Citicorp Real Estate and the FDIC on the acquisition, entitlement and disposition of significant land assets in Florida. He built a productive brokerage practice with The Galbreath Company, Grubb & Ellis and Charles Wayne Properties.
Successful assignments include representing Colonial Properties Trust in the assemblage and entitlement of 245 acres that became the Colonial Town Park mixed-use development in Lake Mary; representing D.R. Horton in the assemblage, acquisition and entitlement of 2,000 acres for the 3,600-home Waterleigh Village in the Horizon West sector of Orange County; and advising Orlando NTC Partners in its successful bid for redevelopment of the 923-acre Orlando Naval Training Center, which became Baldwin Park.
He was senior vice president of acquisitions and development at Crosland-Florida from 2004 thru 2008, where he was responsible for acquiring more than 1,400 acres of land valued at approximately $44 million, and obtaining entitlements for 3,900 residential units and 475,000 square feet of retail/commercial space.
He is professionally affiliated with the Greater Orlando Builders Association, where he is a former director, a founder and past chair of its developers’ council, and director emeritus of its political action committee. Steve is also an Urban Land Institute (ULI) member, and serves on the ULI Central Florida District Council Management Committee and the Governance Committee. He has been a director of the Association of Florida Community Developers and is a founding director of the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society. He serves on the City of Winter Park Economic Development Advisory Board.
Steve was a finance major at Husson College in Bangor, Maine, where he graduated in 1967 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He attended graduate school at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut, where he pursued an emphasis in Economics and Finance.
Chris Ortigoza-Gomez Vice President

Chris brings knowledge and expertise in land acquisitions and the entitlement process to land owners, developers and investors. Prior to joining Land Advisors in 2010, Chris worked in the Retail Development Division at Macerich, and as an Investment Property Coordinator for Sperry Van Ness’ Multi-family group.
Chris holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in City & Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is a licensed California real estate professional, a member of the American Planning Association, and member of the Urban Land Institute. Chris spends his spare time with his wife and kids, running, biking, hiking, playing ultimate frisbee and watching hockey.
Ethan Granger Chief Technology Officer
After joining the Land Advisors Organization 1996, Ethan began developing a custom geographic information system focused on modeling the complex variables that drive land parcel purchasing decisions. This system helped to transform the Land Advisors Organization from a small regional land brokerage firm to one with national presence. This growth has, in turn, led to an extremely sophisticated geographic database of land parcels around the country enabling the Land Advisors the ability to offer brokerage consulting in nearly any market.
Ethan’s ultimate accomplishment was to put this system into the hands of non-technical sales agents by creating an easy to use interface. Additionally, Ethan built a department to support the agents in efficiently creating custom map products for real estate transactions and clients. The Land Advisors’ IT department is continually recognized as utilizing the latest mapping technology and sets a high standard for the practical application of GIS.
Ethan still remains deeply involved in the IT operations helping to craft creative solutions, manage integration of emerging technologies and to ultimately steer the technological direction of the company. He enjoys working with the other Land Advisors sales agents to enhance their deal-making ability through geographic analysis and identify new opportunities where technology can play a vital role.
Ethan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Planning from Binghamton University. He pursued a Masters in Geography from Arizona State University. Ethan also holds a real estate license in the State of Arizona since 2003.
Hal Guggolz Austin MSA Advisor
Hal Guggolz is a metropolitan statistical area advisor focusing on residential, commercial, investment and ranch properties in the Austin area and throughout central Texas. Hal helps his clients consistently find the hidden value of a property and generate its maximum potential.
Hal joined Land Advisors Organization in 2010, leveraging his detail-orientation and knowledge of the Austin market as a data and research analyst. In 2013, he earned his Texas real estate license.

Utah operations Managing Director, Zachary Hartman focuses on advising private equity investors, banks, financial institutions, developers, pension funds, REITs, public entities, family offices, homebuilders and individual owners with the acquisition and disposition of Utah land assets. Zach has closed transactions totaling just under $1 billion in a range of real estate assets in more than 33 states, and has been instrumental in Land Advisors Organization's rapid growth in market share and influence in the Utah real estate market, closing approximately $500,000,000 in land sales within Utah.
Since opening the LAO Utah office, Zach has closed 18,500 acres, more than 32,750 residential lots and units, thousands of industrial acres, hundreds of mixed use in-fill acres, millions of square feet of commercial and 24 holes of golf.
Zach came to Land Advisors Organization from the Land Division at NAI Utah Commercial Real Estate. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Hawkins Capital, a CB Richard Ellis Utah Land Services representative, Vice President of Development of Simmons Outdoor Media, Leasing Manager for LCG and Leasing Agent with The Boyer Company.
Zach earned a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2010 and serves as a member of the ASU Real Estate Council. Mike Ripley Advisor
Advisor Mike Ripley has extensive experience with geographic information systems, bringing insights derived from the latest market trends to a client’s land-related acquisition or disposition needs.
Mike began in real estate as a research analyst for KB Homes in Orlando. He worked to streamline the land acquisition process using targeted data compilation and analysis. This allowed him to assemble multi-million-dollar land property proposals which required a detailed understanding of complex land variables, while working collaboratively with onsite engineers.
Before joining Land Advisors Organization, Mike focused on analyzing land data to identify development opportunities at Bowyer-Singleton and Associates. With his engineering and planning background, Mike created a niche in the GIS department, offering advanced land analysis that catered directly to homebuilders and other land developers.
Mike attended the University of Florida at Gainesville and graduated in 2001 with a degree in environmental engineering and his engineer intern certification. Mike went on to focus on geographic information systems at the University of Florida Urban and Regional Planning Graduate Program, where he won the Carl Fiess Urban and Environmental Design Award in 2002.
Mike is a member of the Urban Land Institute and is adjunct professor of environmental studies in the Rollins College Hamilton Holt Program.
Brian Rosener President
Brian is the President of the Land Advisors Organization. Since joining the Company in 1999, Brian has played a vital role in the creation and implementation of the Company’s vision and associated growth strategies.
As President, Brian is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company across the entire country. From strategic direction, office identification, infrastructure, financial management, compliance, process improvement, and talent acquisition/management, Brian’s deep operational knowledge and team-building skills have helped Land Advisors remain at the forefront of the land brokerage industry.
Prior to joining the Land Advisors, Brian was a Senior Manager with the global management consulting firm Accenture. In that role, Brian was responsible for improving the technology, business processes, and human capital elements of Fortune 500 companies across the country. He has used these skills and his experiences to help a rapidly growing LAO leverage the best practices employed by leading companies in a variety of industries.
Brian has an MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Operations Management from Arizona State University.
Terry Ruckle Founding Principal
As a Founding Principal of Land Advisors, Terry leads Land Advisors’ elite residential land brokerage team that focuses exclusively on California master planned communities and other real estate portfolio opportunities. Clients benefit from Terry’s extensive experience and unmatched insight.
Terry has played an integral role in the brokerage and advisory of some of the largest residential land transactions in California. In the last 12 months, he has closed over $600 million dollars in total consideration. Terry’s accomplishments are not only known within California, but across the United States; he spearheaded the sale of Lehman Brothers’ western region residential land portfolio, which included 19 assets that represented 37,000 total residential units over 20,000 acres.

Chad Russell Commercial and Industrial Advisor
Commercial and Industrial Advisor Chad Russell has a comprehensive and extensive history of sales, marketing and industry experience acquired during 20 years in the real estate industry.
Before he joined Land Advisors Organization, Chad was a senior broker at Cowen Commercial, LLC. Previously he had been vice president of the retail/commercial division at Hogan & Associates, Inc. for seven years, and before that, was a Senior Associate in the retail division at Grubb & Ellis for three years. There, he was responsible for retail and office property representation, assisting in the leasing, sale and ground-up development of shopping centers and office buildings, and the sale of commercially zoned and improved land to users, investors and speculators.
Chad graduated in 1999 from Arizona State University with a bachelor of science degree in finance and real estate. He became a licensed Arizona real estate agent the same year. Chad is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mike Schwab has been with Land Advisors Organization since 1989, offering clients 30-plus years of experience as a licensed agent and broker in Arizona. Chris Shiota Vice President
Chris is the leading underwriter within the residential land industry. He is known as a consummate professional with an immense amount of knowledge and experience in private equity and residential development. Chris is a part of Land Advisors’ Special Projects team representing investors, developers, and builders seeking to acquire or sell residential land throughout California.
For over a decade, Chris’ financial expertise has been considered invaluable. He has created a strong track record of successfully managing and underwriting complex residential projects while working with various stakeholders across multiple businesses. Chris has served as a Senior Associate at Trimont Real Estate Advisors and Assistant Vice Principal at Kennedy Wilson/Meyers, LLC. Most recently, he served as the Director of Investment Management at Isles Ranch Partners for almost five years, where he underwrote development and homebuilding opportunities, performing due diligence and asset management over 40 residential investments.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance as well as an emphasis in Investment Finance, which he earned while studying aboard at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Andrew Sinderhoff Associate

Ian earned his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School, where he served as Administrative Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law and a Dean’s Fellow. As a Founding Principal and President of Land Advisors, Jeff is responsible for creating and communicating the organization’s vision, strategy, and overall direction. Along with providing leadership to the firm, Jeff is a dominant real estate expert in West Riverside County, bringing his extensive market knowledge and strong relationships to the firm’s clientele. He’s played an integral role in the sale of more than 130,000 residential units for consideration exceeding $5 billion.
Jeff has an extensive 40+-year history in the real estate industry. In 1997, Jeff established Park Place Partners, Inc., along with Co-founding Principals, Brian Carricaburu and Terry Ruckle. In March 2009, Park Place Partners, Inc., California’s largest residential land brokerage and advisory firm, merged platforms with Land Advisors Organization, based in Scottsdale, Arizona and created the California Division of Land Advisors Organization. The combined platform is the only national brokerage and advisory network dedicated to the residential land development industry with offices located across the United States.
Prior to establishing Land Advisors, Jeff began his career at Grubb & Ellis, where he enjoyed an acclaimed 17-year tenure and ranked amongst the top 10% producers. While at Grubb & Ellis, Jeff was involved in over 200 transactions totaling more than $275 million in consideration. He opened Grubb & Ellis’ Inland Empire office and later took a leadership role in the firm’s Newport Beach office where he specialized in the sale of residential subdivisions.

Randolph C. Titzck, brings 30 years of marketing and industry experience to the Land Advisors Organization, including an extensive history of sales.
As a leader in the commercial and industrial land space, Randolph’s comprehensive experience and knowledge enable him to successfully represent clients in large-scale land acquisitions. He leads the organization’s site selection services group.
Before joining Land Advisors Organization, Randolph was senior vice president of the Retail Properties Division at Hogan & Associates, Inc. For the 13 previous years, he was a top broker in the retail division at Grubb & Ellis. In this capacity, he was responsible for retail, office and industrial property representation, assisting in the leasing, sale and development of more than 400 shopping centers and office buildings, and the sale of commercially-zoned and improved land.
Randolph earned Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Arizona State University, and has been a licensed Arizona real estate agent since 1986.
Doug has over 25 years of professional experience in real estate and business development matters. With broad business experiences, he has developed expertise in commercial and real estate financial transactions, land acquisition and development, asset management, and building strategic partnerships.
Since the inception of Vision Capital Partners, LLC (“VCP”) in 2004, Doug focused on building the firm through sourcing and underwriting senior debt and equity real estate transactions, acquiring land, and developing/managing real estate assets. He completed in excess of $400M of asset-back senior debt placements and $100M of real estate acquisitions.

Since founding the company in 1987, Mr. Vogel has applied his unique knowledge in the areas of land economics, land use and market trends to become a trusted advisor and broker to a broad spectrum of clients including financial institutions, investors, homebuilders and master planned community developers.
As Chief Executive Officer of the Land Advisors Organization, Mr. Vogel has led the expansion of the company into 22 markets across the United States. Over the past 25 years he has been involved in hundreds of transactions including several of the highest valued land transactions in the country. He has developed an extreme level of expertise in large scale community development and the representation of large land owners in unique structured transactions.
Mr. Vogel received his B.S. in Real Estate from Arizona State University in 1985. He is a past Trustee and Governor for the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the past Chair of the ULI Community Development Council (BlueFlight) and currently sits on the ULI Foundation Board of Directors. Nate Ward Urban Residential Advisor
Nate joined Land Advisors in 2018 after relocating from Washington, DC and brings a unique, East Coast prospective to the Washington Division team. He will focus primarily on Urban Residential/Infill projects in the greater Seattle area.
Originally from Northern VT, Nate and many of his family members, beginning with his grandfather, worked in real estate. Soon after college, he relocated to the DC Metro area and spent nearly a decade working as a federal government contractor in the areas of business development and contract financing. Looking for new challenges, Nate joined his family brokerage in DC and lead the business development and marketing efforts for the agency.
Nate is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY where he studied Business Administration and played for the Golden Knights baseball program, serving as a team captain. He maintains an internal drive for competition that has led to his success both on and off the field.

Bobby Wuertz Agricultural Land Advisor
Bobby Wuertz is an agricultural land advisor in the Phoenix office of Land Advisors Organization. Bobby is a native Arizonan raised in Coolidge, where his family has deep roots in agriculture. His life-long involvement with agricultural land yields extensive knowledge that Bobby uses to close successful land transactions for farm families, farm organizations and agricultural investment funds.
During his career in agriculture, Bobby was a partner/owner of a 4,000-acre farm operation, worked for Arizona Drip Systems and was involved in a cotton marketing cooperative that represented farmers in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Bobby serves on the alumni board of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Arizona. He is also a member of the Pinal 40 Organization, which promotes Pinal County, farming and agriculture-related businesses while providing support for youth and youth education.
