Chris Shiota

Chris represents investors and developers buying and selling residential land throughout California. Chris primarily works with institutional capital providers, builders, and developers to form sales strategies that maximize value by focusing on underwriting and creating a competitive bid process. For two decades, Chris’ residential development and capital markets expertise has been considered invaluable to his clients, showing a strong reputation for underwriting complex residential projects. Chris also leads Lakebridge Capital, a Land Advisors-affiliated capital markets firm assisting developers in capitalizing their transactions.

Previously, Chris worked at Isles Ranch Partners leading investment management on 40 residential investments deploying nearly $500 million in capital. Chris also previously worked at Kennedy Wilson and Trimont Real Estate Advisors (the asset manager for Lehman Brothers).

Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance along with an emphasis in Investment Finance, which he earned while studying aboard at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Chris is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the California Building Industry Association. Chris spends his spare time playing tennis and enjoying USC Trojans football.
