TAMPA, FL, October 21, 2015 — Land Advisors Organization (LAO), a premier nationwide land brokerage firm, announces Nancy Surak, ALC Advanced, CCIM has been hired to open its newest office in Tampa, FL.

With over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Nancy possesses a deep understanding of marketing and transactional expertise. She has specialized in land brokerage in the Tampa Bay area since 2005 and has completed deals with notable companies such as Stiles, Sembler, M/I Homes, DR Horton, Standard Pacific Homes, Taylor Morrison, GreenPointe Holdings, K. Hovnanian, Inland Homes, Southern Crafted Homes, Mobley Homes, Seminole Tribe of Florida, DevCo, SunTrust, BB&T, Whitney Bank, Coast Oak Group, Colonial Properties, Crosland, Landmar Group, Kitson & Partners, Duke Energy, Kids R Kids, Racetrac and numerous others.

Prior to joining Land Advisors, Nancy was senior broker with Eshenbaugh Land Company where she received numerous awards including Overall Deal of the Year in 2014 and Land Deal of the Year in 2014, 2012, 2011 and 2010 from Florida Gulf Coast Association of Commercial Realtors (FGCAR). She has been consistently ranked in the top tier of land brokers in Tampa Bay since 2010. In addition, she has been honored by Gulf Coast Business Review in its “40 Under 40” list as well as by Florida Real Estate Journal as a Top Woman in Florida Commercial Real Estate.

Nancy is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a BS in International Trade and Finance and the University of Florida with a MA in Mass Communication. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Tampa for its Real Estate Management course and is a frequent and sought-after speaker at industry events including the National Association of Realtor’s Conference in 2013 and most recently at NAIOP Tampa Bay’s Broker Update in 2015.

She serves on the FGCAR Board and previously served on the Leadership Tampa Bay Board and Pasco County Economic Development Council (PEDC). She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and also holds the Realtors Land Institute’s Accredited Land Consultant Advanced designation (ALC Advanced). In addition, she’s an active member of Real Estate Investment Council (REIC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
