Tucson Closes $42 Million D.R. Horton Land Acquisition of Saguaro Bloom

TUCSON, AZ, September 23, 2015 — The Tucson office of the Land Advisors Organization (LAO), a premier nationwide land brokerage firm, announces the successful sale of the remaining 1,530 lots at Saguaro Bloom. Located near Continental Ranch and Reserve, just west of the Twin Peaks interchange along Interstate 10 in Marana, Arizona.

Land Advisors Organization broker Will White along with Ryan Duncan from Nathan and Associates negotiated this transaction, representing the seller.

The Saguaro Bloom lots were being sold by Scottsdale-based Grayhawk Development and was purchased for $42M, by D.R. Horton.

In 2013, as the only builder in the community, D.R. Horton purchased lots and opened three series of homes for sale. Of the original 265 lots opened by Horton, they have approximately 82 lots and specs remaining to sell. This is a remarkable investment for any market and speaks to the underlying strength in the fundamentals of the Tucson Housing Market.
