Land Advisors Organization–Orlando Welcomes Urban Planning Expert to Team

October 2, 2012 (Orlando, Florida) – Land Advisors Organization announced today that Andrea (Andi) Perez has joined their Orlando office as Manager of Research. Andi has significant experience in urban and regional planning, economics and international affairs. Prior to joining Land Advisors Organization, Andi completed her Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Rollins College while participating as an Urban Design Think Tank Team Researcher for the Hahn & Hahn Team in Winter Park, Florida. The Hahn & Hahn Think Tank brings together a diverse, interdisciplinary team of graduate students in the field of urban planning and urban design to achieve the goal of creating economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable communities. Andi was challenged with some of urban planning’s most pressing concerns including business experience and marketing strategies for successful planning in tough economic times, multi-cultural experience and international perspectives for creating authentic communities, and economic, social and environmental knowledge for building sustainable developments.

“We are excited to have Andi join our team,” commented Steve Flanagan, Florida Residential Master Plan and Commercial Land Specialist, Land Advisors Organization-Orlando, “Andi is extremely knowledgeable, bringing with her tremendous analysis and expertise both in planning, design and the management of land-related data to analyze trends and patterns in areas of rapid growth and change.”

Andi’s Peruvian heritage and years spent living in Johannesburg, South Africa have profoundly influenced her professional goals – leading to an interest in social and economic challenges faced in the field of urban planning, community organizing, and affordable housing. Andi has received accreditation from the Congress for the New Urbanism, is a member of the Florida Planning and Zoning Association, and is a Global Connections Foundation Fellow.
Her previous educational achievements include a Bachelors of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, in Economics with a minor in International Affairs (Rollins College), where she was awarded the honor of Top Economics Senior in her graduating class.

Brian Rosener, President of Land Advisors Organization stated, “We have always been committed to growing our company responsibly at all levels and bringing Andi onboard is just another example of our promise to provide the best quality support and direction as the company continues to grow our national reach and, more specifically, anticipate and navigate the high-growth Orlando marketplace.”
