Former PulteGroup Exec Joins Land Advisors Organization’s Atlanta Office

ATLANTA (May 1, 2023) – Land Advisors Organization’s Atlanta office is pleased to announce that Jay Mason has joined the firm’s brokerage and advisory team. Mason will be an advisor to landowners and facilitator of land transactions with home builders, master-planned communities, commercial developments, and industrial/logistics parks throughout the Metro Atlanta area as well as Macon, Savanah, Columbus, and the expanding Georgia markets.

A former executive with PulteGroup, which builds Centex, Pulte, Del Webb, John Wieland, and DiVosta, Mason has more than 20 years of experience in residential real estate land acquisition strategy management as well as consulting on land valuation and negotiations. Recently, he has been involved with land acquisitions in the residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and multi-family sectors throughout Georgia, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle.

Since 2017, Mason has been an adjunct professor of real estate for the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. He holds various philanthropic and leadership positions in the community of Sandy Springs, Georgia, and is active in the Episcopal Church. Prior to beginning his career in real estate, Mason earned a Ph.D. in quantitative political science from the University of Texas at Austin and taught at the college level for a decade.

Mason joins veteran real estate advisor and capital director David Moore who manages the Land Advisors Organization’s Atlanta office. The firm provides land advisory and brokerage services in Georgia, and capital advisory and strategic financial solutions throughout the Southeastern markets.
