Heritage Golf Group Completes Purchase of Two Premiere Golf Courses, Expanding its Southeastern Golf Property Portfolio
The acquisition of the Club at Savanah Quarters and Grande Dunes Members Club and golf course was facilitated by Land Advisors Organization and Fairway Advisors.
ATLANTA/CHARLOTTE (October 25, 2022) –Heritage Golf Group, a Northern Virginia-based owner and operator of golf and country clubs, recently completed the purchase of two premiere golf courses located in the Southeastern United States. The 245-acre Savanah Quarters country club outside of Savanah, GA and the Grande Dunes Members Club in Myrtle Beach, SC were acquired earlier this month, as Heritage continues to actively grow its portfolio of premium golf properties in major metropolitan markets.
The Club at Savannah Quarters is a private country club on 245 acres with a championship Greg Norman designed golf course. In addition to the golf course, the Savannah Quarters property includes a 29,000 square-foot clubhouse with an indoor/outdoor capacity of 500 people as well as a 270,000-gallon aquatic center, a fitness center, four lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, a driving range, and a practice green. Savannah Quarters is located in Pooler, GA a suburb of Savannah.
The Grande Dunes Members Club is a private, non-equity country club with a championship 18- hole golf course designed by Nick Price and Craig Shreiner. In addition to the golf course, the Country Club property includes a 27,000 square-foot clubhouse with an indoor/outdoor capacity of 260 people, a double-sided driving range, a chipping green and a putting green. The 170-acre Club was built in 2005 and is located in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The two transactions were facilitated, on behalf of the sellers, by Land Advisors Organization in partnership with Jeff Davis from Fairway Advisors, a brokerage specializing in golf properties. Greg Vogel, Wes Campbell and David Moore with Land Advisors Organization represented both sellers, with Forde Britt also advising on the Grande Dunes sale.
