Land Advisors Organization’s Orlando Team Closes on 153 Acres in Mount Dora for $9 Million to Forestar

Orlando, Florida (September 3, 2020) – Land Advisors Organization Orlando is pleased to announce the closing of sale of 153 acres in Mount Dora, Florida for nearly $9M. The property is planning to bring 367 new single-family homes to the Timberland community, which will be built by D. R. Horton.

Land Advisors Organization’s Orlando home builder team Steve Flanagan and Mike Ripley, acting as a transaction broker, arranged the sale on behalf of the buyer, Tampa-based Forestar (USA) Real Estate Group Inc.

“The buyer plans to start immediate site development on Timberwalk, a 367-home residential community whose exclusive builder will be D.R. Horton,” said Land Advisors Organization’s Steve Flanagan. “Bordering the Mount Dora’s Innovation District, this is an exciting addition to the area and will continue to aid in the residential growth with much-needed single-family homes.”

The property is located at the southwest corner of Wolf Branch Road and Round Lake Road adjacent to Round Lake Elementary School and is ideally located just minutes from the SR 46 interchange with SR 453, a newly completed segment of Orlando’s Beltway that connects to Interstate 4 in Maitland and, in 2022, will connect to Interstate 4 in Lake Mary. Timberwalk will provide residents with amenities including ample open space, a pool, walking trails, a multi-use ball field, and community RV and boat storage.
