Lewis Purchases 580 Single Family Residential Lots in Fairfield, CA
Land Advisors Organization is pleased to announce the closing of Cooper’s Landing & Hawthorne Mill. The Properties were purchased by an affiliate of the Lewis group of companies’ Northern California Division, which is among the most active land development companies in the United States.
The two Properties are located in the heart of Fairfield, CA and encompass approximately 412 acres. Cooper’s Landing and Hawthorne Mill have previously approved tentative tract maps; however, Lewis plans to modify each project to improve community design, circulation, product differentiation, and increase the amount of open space and pedestrian connectivity.
Cooper’s Landing consists of approximately 32 acres and is planned for approximately 280 single family residential lots in three different product lines. Hawthorne Mill consists of approximately 379 acres and is planned for approximately 300 single family residential lots in four different product lines as well as a large wetland preserve. Moreover, the project is located within close proximity to hiking trails and wineries, as well as quick access to Capitol Corridor and BART stations.
The Properties are adjacent to Lewis’ Villages at Fairfield master planned community in north Fairfield and will be incorporated into the community. The Villages at Fairfield is regarded as one of the most successfully selling master planned communities in the greater Bay Area and boasts the highest absorption rates in Solano County.
The closing of the transaction during this time of economic uncertainty resulting from California’s efforts to combat COVID-19 demonstrates Lewis’ confidence in the continued success of the Villages at Fairfield project.
