Greg Vogel Founder and CEO
Since founding the company in 1987, Greg has applied his unique knowledge in the areas of land economics, land use and market trends to become a trusted advisor to a broad spectrum of clients including financial institutions, investors, homebuilders and master-planned community developers.
As Chief Executive Officer of Land Advisors Organization, he has led the expansion of the company into 30 markets across the United States launching it to the largest land company in the US.. Over the past 36 years he has been involved in over 1,000 transactions including dozens of the highest valued land transactions in the country. He has developed an extreme level of expertise in large scale community development and the representation of large land owners in unique structured transactions.
Mr. Vogel received his B.S. in Real Estate from Arizona State University in 1985. Within the Urban Land Institute he has served over 25 years in many national and local leadership positions. Mr. Vogel focuses his philanthropic and civic involvement on the Arizona State University Real Estate Programs now Chairing the Real Estate Council and is a Board member of University Realty. He also serves on the board of Valley Partnership and is serving on the Valley Wise Hospital System current capital campaign.
Mike Schwab Principal and Designated Broker
Mike Schwab is a Principal and Designated Broker of the Land Advisors Organization. Since joining the Firm in 1989, Mike has specialized in the vibrant western metropolitan Phoenix land and lot market.
His clients benefit from his vast market knowledge, transactional experience, and access to the most comprehensive data available to not only list and sell all types of land holdings, but also to receive his insight on matters of land valuation, land economics, property entitlements, and utility solutions.
Additionally, his geographic specialization has afforded him the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships with key decision makers in multiple West Valley jurisdictions. These relationships, combined with his contacts with local land planning and civil engineering expertise, offer landowners the opportunity to enhance the value of their land via strategic and timely planning and entitlement efforts.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from Arizona State University in 1987. He is a member of the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona and the Western Maricopa Coalition / WESTMARC (a public-private partnership of the 15 communities, the business community, and the educational sector in the West Valley of the Greater Phoenix region). He is past president and board member of the Hon Kachina Volunteer Awards and was a trustee with St. Luke’s Health Initiatives.
Brian Rosener President
Brian is the President of the Land Advisors Organization. Since joining the Company in 1999, Brian has played a vital role in the creation and implementation of the Company’s vision and associated growth strategies.
As President, Brian is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company across the entire country. From strategic direction, office identification, infrastructure, financial management, compliance, process improvement, and talent acquisition/management, Brian’s deep operational knowledge and team-building skills have helped Land Advisors remain at the forefront of the land brokerage industry.
Prior to joining the Land Advisors, Brian was a Senior Manager with the global management consulting firm Accenture. In that role, Brian was responsible for improving the technology, business processes, and human capital elements of Fortune 500 companies across the country. He has used these skills and his experiences to help a rapidly growing Land Advisors Organization leverage the best practices employed by leading companies in a variety of industries.
Brian has an MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Operations Management from Arizona State University.
Ethan Granger Chief Technology Officer
After joining the Land Advisors Organization in 1996, Ethan began developing a custom geographic information system focused on modeling the complex variables that drive land parcel purchasing decisions. This system helped transform the Land Advisors Organization from a small regional land brokerage firm to one with national presence. This growth has, in turn, led to an extremely sophisticated geographic database of land parcels around the country enabling the Land Advisors the ability to offer brokerage consulting in nearly any market.
Ethan’s ultimate accomplishment was to put this system into the hands of non-technical sales agents by creating an easy to use interface. Additionally, Ethan built a department to support the agents in efficiently creating custom map products for real estate transactions and clients. The Land Advisors’ IT department is continually recognized as utilizing the latest mapping technology and sets a high standard for the practical application of GIS.
Ethan still remains deeply involved in the IT operations helping to craft creative solutions, manage integration of emerging technologies and to ultimately steer the technological direction of the company. He enjoys working with the other Land Advisors sales agents to enhance their deal-making ability through geographic analysis and identify new opportunities where technology can play a vital role.
Ethan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Planning from Binghamton University. He pursued a Masters in Geography from Arizona State University. Ethan also holds a real estate license in the State of Arizona since 2003.
R. Jeffrey Spindler Founding Principal & President
As a Founding Principal and President of Land Advisors, Jeff is responsible for creating and communicating the organization’s vision, strategy, and overall direction. Along with providing leadership to the firm, Jeff is a dominant real estate expert in West Riverside County, bringing his extensive market knowledge and strong relationships to the firm’s clientele. He’s played an integral role in the sale of more than 130,000 residential units for consideration exceeding $5 billion.
Jeff has an extensive 40+-year history in the real estate industry. In 1997, Jeff established Park Place Partners, Inc., along with Co-founding Principals, Brian Carricaburu and Terry Ruckle. In March 2009, Park Place Partners, Inc., California’s largest residential land brokerage and advisory firm, merged platforms with Land Advisors Organization, based in Scottsdale, Arizona and created the California Division of Land Advisors Organization. The combined platform is the only national brokerage and advisory network dedicated to the residential land development industry with offices located across the United States.
Prior to establishing Land Advisors, Jeff began his career at Grubb & Ellis, where he enjoyed an acclaimed 17-year tenure and ranked amongst the top 10% producers. While at Grubb & Ellis, Jeff was involved in over 200 transactions totaling more than $275 million in consideration. He opened Grubb & Ellis’ Inland Empire office and later took a leadership role in the firm’s Newport Beach office where he specialized in the sale of residential subdivisions.
Jeff is a licensed California real estate broker, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
Terry Ruckle Founding Principal
As a Founding Principal of Land Advisors, Terry leads Land Advisors’ elite residential land brokerage team that focuses exclusively on California master planned communities and other real estate portfolio opportunities. Clients benefit from Terry’s extensive experience and unmatched insight.
Terry has played an integral role in the brokerage and advisory of some of the largest residential land transactions in California. In the last 12 months, he has closed over $600 million dollars in total consideration. Terry’s accomplishments are not only known within California, but across the United States; he spearheaded the sale of Lehman Brothers’ western region residential land portfolio, which included 19 assets that represented 37,000 total residential units over 20,000 acres.
Terry’s professionalism and ambition is inherent and has been the driver behind his legendary career, earning him the firm’s prestigious P.A.R.K award in 2011 by his Land Advisors’ colleagues for his professionalism, ambition, knowledge, and respectability. F. Brian Carricaburu Founding Principal
As one of the Founding Principals of Land Advisors, Brian has an extensive history in the real estate industry. He provides clients with unparalleled market knowledge and a broad network of industry relationships. During Brian’s 20+ year career, he has played an integral role in the sale of more than 130,000 residential units for consideration exceeding $5 billion.
Brian began his career at Grubb & Ellis with the Industrial Land Division. Brian participated in transactions totaling over $50 million, where he leased and/or sold over 1.5 million square feet of industrial product and more than 2,600 acres of land. He later transferred to Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach office to specialize in the sale of residential subdivisions.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Finance from the University of California at Riverside, where he was also a member of the baseball team. He is a licensed California real estate professional.
Lee Aarons Senior Vice President
Lee Aarons specializes in representing clients seeking residential and mixed-use opportunities in Los Angeles County and Orange County. He brings over twenty years of experience in high-end residential and land sales with consideration exceeding $1.3 billion.
At the age of 23, Lee joined the high-end residential firm Arlington Residential in his native London, England. He went on to become the firms highest grossing sales person over the next eleven years, selling a billion dollars of high-end residential homes throughout London’s St. John’s Wood, Hampstead, and Regents Park areas.

Timothy Barden Senior Vice President
Tim Barden specializes in representing investors, developers and builders seeking residential and mixed-use opportunities in metropolitan Los Angeles County. As a specialist on “in-fill” opportunities, Tim has the knowledge to cater to developers across multiple product types, including traditional housing, institutional apartments, affordable and senior housing, and high density mixed-use projects. Josh Cameron Austin MSA Advisor
Josh Cameron is a metropolitan statistical area advisor bringing more than 20 years of industry experience in land disposition and acquisition and all phases of the land-use lifecycle. Josh offers a valuable combination of residential and commercial land transaction expertise to the firm and his clients.

Wesley Campbell Advisor
Wesley Campbell (Wes) is an Advisor with Land Advisors Organization’s Metropolitan Phoenix office and works directly with the firm’s Founder and CEO Greg Vogel. He currently provides advisory and project management services on the evolution of master-planned community (MPC) projects in multiple states including Arizona, Utah, and Washington. Wes oversees team management, initial proposal development for the landowner or developer and is also responsible for the due diligent process, development of the project offering package for prospective buyers and executing the marketing plan through to closing of the land sale.
In addition, Wes manages site selection and acquisitions and has facilitated the disposition of approximately $100M+ in land over the past 12-months.

Randy Coe Senior Vice President
Randy specializes in representing investors, developers and builders seeking development and investment opportunities in several areas within Southern California, including Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and the High Desert areas of Antelope Valley and Victor Valley.
Since joining Land Advisors 2002, Randy has played an integral role in the sale of more than 7,000 lots for consideration exceeding $700 million. Randy earned the title of Top Salesperson in 2006 and 2008 and has consistently been ranked in the top 10% of the firm’s producers since he started at Land Advisors.
Before his tenure at Land Advisors, Randy spent 13 years as a commercial and industrial broker with Grubb & Ellis Company and three years with Colliers International.
Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Real Estate from California State University, Long Beach. He is a licensed California real estate broker, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), member of the Urban Land Institute, member of the Building Industry Association, and member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Trey Davis Advisor
Trey Davis joined Land Advisors in the Research Department in May of 2019 while he was finishing his sophomore year at Arizona State University. In his time with the company, Trey has gone from research intern to serving as the Assistant Manager of the Research Department and has assisted in tasks for various different teams around our organization.
After spending two years building a deep knowledge of the Arizona market and earning his bachelor’s degree, Trey joined the team as our second Pinal County Specialist along with Kirk P. McCarville, CCIM. Kirk and Trey are deeply involved in the rapidly developing industrial market in Pinal County.
Prior to his work at Land Advisors, Trey worked as a site selection and acquisition associate at SimonCRE while acquiring his Arizona Real Estate and Contractors licenses.
Eric S. Deems Advisor & Principal Broker
Leading our Nashville office, Eric S. Deems is an established real estate professional with expertise in strategic real estate planning, land brokerage, development, and site selection. A resident of Nashville, he is recognized as a dealmaker and problem solver in the commercial real estate industry for his ability to connect parties with shared objectives as well as his adeptness in navigating complex transactions and guiding clients through acquisitions, public-private partnerships, and joint venture arrangements. Throughout his career he has managed multi-market development projects for multifamily, student housing, and industrial clients. He is also well versed in managing multi-state real estate portfolios and driving growth strategies for entities such as the Tennessee Valley Authority, the United States Postal Service, and several private companies and investment funds.
Eric earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University, earned his undergraduate degrees from Belmont University, and is originally from the Appalachian Region of southeastern Ohio. Eric is a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. Eric serves as a volunteer firefighter with Williamson Fire-Rescue and is involved with various community organizations and nonprofits.
Eric and the Nashville team serve middle Tennessee and the surrounding markets, which include Huntsville, Alabama, and southern Kentucky.
Joy Ding Vice President
Joy specializes in identifying residential and mixed-use development opportunities in the LA County. She brings over 10 years of experience in residential real estate development and homebuilding. Joy is highly skilled in financial and competitive market analysis, land acquisition, and has been involved in various homebuilding operations. Joy is bilingual and fluent in Mandarin.
Prior to joining Land Advisors, Joy was a Director of Land Acquisition and held various roles in both publicly traded and privately owned development and home building companies, such as K. Hovnanian Homes, Landsea Homes, and Bassenian Lagoni Architects.
Joy holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine. She had studied abroad at the University of Cambridge in England. Joy is a licensed California real estate professional and an active participant of the Urban Land Institute and Building Industry Associations in both the OC and LA/Ventura regions.
Kwame Do Associate
Kwame focuses on financial underwriting and market analysis in brokerage engagements for capital providers and institutional developers. Kwame works seamlessly with the team to represent investors, developers, and builders seeking to attain or sell master planned communities throughout California.
In 2013, Kwame interned at Land Advisors where he worked on market and deal analysis with the Los Angeles Urban Infill team. Shortly after his internship, Kwame began working for Goldman Sachs where he assisted with risk management and funding allocation for the equity derivative synthetic product group for over four years.
In 2020, Kwame returned to Land Advisors to provide expertise in all types of residential underwriting and capital analysis. Kwame is responsible for the preparation of complex cash flow analyses for projects including Master Planned Communities, Build to Rent, Multi-Family, and Affordable opportunities. He is also involved in the management and placement of capital for a variety of builders, developers, investors, and land owners.

Clay Driggers Advisor
Matthew "Clay" Driggers is a highly experienced real estate professional with a successful career spanning nearly three decades. Prior to joining Land Advisors, Tony was the Vice President - Land Disposition for The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the nation’s premier developers of master planned communities with 10,500 acres and approximately 42,000 residential lots in California and Nevada. Tony began his career in real estate when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of O’Donnell/Atkins, California’s largest land brokerage firm at the time. Tony previously held positions of increasing responsibility from financial analyst to controller and eventually Chief Financial Officer of various publicly traded and private firms.
Tony graduated from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree and received a commission in the United States Marine Corps in 1988. During his service, Tony spent five years at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in an F/A-18 squadron where he accumulated more than 1,000 hours of flight time in the Hornet. He has consistently earned the CoStar Power Broker recognition in the Tucson Market, an achievement that is based on transaction volume and dollar value. Will graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in regional development and earned his Arizona Real Estate license in 1997.
Matthew Whitfield Analyst
Matt grew up in Cardiff, Wales, UK and comes to Land Advisors from a background in Acquisitions and Financing for Real Estate Investment firms in Washington and the UK. This exposure to International Real Estate has allowed him to have a unique perspective on the market and the opportunities that ensue changes.
Matt moved to Washington to embark upon the University of Washington’s Master of Science in Real Estate and obtained his BS in Geophysics from the University of Southampton. He has performed all stages of the acquisition process including underwriting, financing and portfolio management for both existing assets and infill development.
Matt is a keen and active sailor notably becoming a multiple National Champion at college and a Continental and World Champion in various disciplines. It is only apt that Matt feels at home in the Puget Sound, surrounded by water and stormy weather!

Dan Whitney, ALC Advisor
Dan Whitney has been involved in real estate for over 30 years in some capacity including land planning, land management, subdivision management, housing market research, and land brokerage. He has been a licensed broker in Kansas and Missouri for 20 years with a focus on land transactions for buyers and sellers. Dan is excited to bring that experience to Land Advisors as the Metro Kansas City Advisor and Managing Broker.
Dan received a degree in Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in marketing from Webster University. Upon graduating he worked as a designer of subdivisions and master planned communities followed by a move back to Kansas City in 1999 to provide housing and development market research, real estate consulting and land brokerage. He has completed all requirements for his Accredited Land Consultant designation through the Realtor’s Land Institute.
Dan’s research driven approach to land brokerage and in-depth knowledge of metro Kansas City will compliment Land Advisor Organization’s approach to helping clients at the local level.
Bobby Wuertz Agricultural Land Advisor
Bobby Wuertz is head of the Agriculture Land Services Team for CA and AZ and is in the Phoenix office of the Land Advisors Organization. Bobby comes from a multi-generation farm family in Coolidge, Arizona. He pairs his life-long involvement with agricultural production and his real estate background to close successful land transactions for agricultural investment funds, farm families, and real estate investors. He is a licensed real estate agent in Arizona and California.
Prior to Land Advisors, Bobby was a principal in a 4,000-acre farm operation, worked for Arizona Drip Systems and was involved in a cotton marketing cooperative that represented farmers in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Bobby is the President of the Pinal 40 Organization, which supports local youth and promotes agriculture education. He is a member of the Ag100 council, the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, a graduate of Project CENTRL (Center for Rural Leadership), and he graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in agriculture economics.
Max Xander Advisor
Max Xander joined Land Advisors Organization in 2017 and currently serves as an Advisor. Based in Scottsdale, he specializes in land transactions related to master-planned communities, industrial, multifamily, and homebuilder projects, primarily working on projects in Phoenix while also collaborating nationally with the firm's founder and CEO, Greg Vogel. Max holds a BS in Finance from Arizona State University and maintains a strong understanding of land economics.
His responsibilities include targeted acquisition, underwriting, sourcing opportunities, oversight of marketing material production, and research coordination with the Land Advisors Organization research team. Max advises landowners and developers and is actively involved in client communication and collaboration with third-party consultants on project advancement.
Max is an active member of NAIOP, ULI, and serves on the Board of the Valley Partnership Community project.
Michael Zarola Managing Director
Michael Zarola joined Land Advisors Capital in April 2020, serving as the company’s President/Managing Director with ultimate responsibility of leading the Land Advisors Capital team. Michael has held leadership positions in business development, origination, asset management and disposition for residential land and housing advisory firms spanning over his 20+ year career in the real estate sector. His experience has been focused in several of the top homebuilding markets including; Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Washington. Throughout his career, Michael has successfully drawn upon his analytical, problem solving, financial modeling and interpersonal skills to negotiate workouts between parties on complex projects and distressed assets to achieve optimal return on investments.
Previously, Michael served as Senior Vice President at The Resmark Companies, advisor to the California State Teachers (CalSTRS) pension fund, where he personally opened up new markets and established a presence on behalf of the company in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas and Utah and Washington. Prior thereto, he was a Vice President for Lowe Enterprises Residential Advisors and its predecessor company TriPacific Capital Advisors, an exclusive advisor to Los Angeles County Employment Retirement Association (LACERA) pension fund at the time. On behalf of Lowe and TriPacific, Michael originated and managed assets in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada and Texas.

Rory Hansen Director
Rory Hansen joined Land Advisors Capital in January 2021, serving as the company’s Director for the Western United States. Mr. Hansen has held positions in business development, originations, asset management and disposition for residential multifamily, land and housing advisory firms spanning over his 8+ year career in real estate. Mr. Hansen’s experience has been focused primarily in the Western United States in major markets including; California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Nevada.
Previously, Mr. Hansen served in multiple capacities at The Resmark Companies, a private equity real estate investment manager who manages capital on behalf of institutional and private investors including two of the nation’s largest public pension funds, California State Teachers (CalSTRS) and California Public Employee (CalPERS) retirement funds. Most recently, Mr. Hansen was responsible for Resmark’s multifamily development originations within the Western United States. Previous roles include Asset Manager for a portfolio of land and housing development investments in the Western United States and as an Investment Analyst supporting both asset management and origination efforts in the land and housing spaces. Mr. Hansen earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Western New England University.

Brett Greene joined Land Advisors Capital in August 2021, serving as the company’s Director for the Central United States. Mr. Greene has held positions in business development, originations, asset management, finance and capital markets for residential developers and real estate advisory firms spanning over his 8+ year career. Mr. Greene’s experience has been focused primarily in the Central and Eastern United States in major markets including: Texas, Colorado, Utah, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and North Carolina.
Previously, Mr. Greene served in multiple capacities at The Resmark Companies, a private equity real estate investment manager who manages capital on behalf of institutional and private investors including two of the nation’s largest public pension funds, California State Teachers (CalSTRS) and California Public Employee (CalPERS) retirement funds. Most recently, Mr. Greene served as Director of Finance & Capital Markets for Storybuilt, a developer that operates in Austin, Dallas, Denver and Seattle. Mr. Greene’s primary focus at Storybuilt was arranging project debt and equity for the company’s various residential for-sale and multi-family developments across various markets. This included the origination of acquisition, development and construction loans from both conventional and private lenders and the sourcing of project equity from institutional capital providers, family offices and high net worth individuals. Mr. Greene earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University San Marcos.
Cooper Glass Investment Analyst
Cooper Glass joined Land Advisors Capital in August 2020, serving as an Investment Analyst in the Austin, Texas office. Mr. Glass has held positions in brokerage, leasing, and analysis for medical, office and multifamily with a focus in the Austin MSA and surrounding areas.
Prior to joining LAC, Mr. Glass got his start in real estate as a multifamily leasing agent while attending the University of Texas at Austin. Following graduation Mr. Glass accepted a position with Equity Commercial Real Estate Solutions, a medical office development and brokerage firm based out of Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Glass was responsible for leasing, business development, market research, and acquisition analysis for general and medical office assets. Mr. Glass earned a Bachelor of Government with a Minor in Business Administration from University of Texas at Austin.
Ollie Nigh Finance Associate
Ollie Nigh joined Land Advisors Capital in September 2021, serving as a finance associate in the Austin, Texas office. Mr. Nigh’s role at LAC is to assist LAC’s regional directors in the underwriting process which includes financial pro forma, demographic, spatial, and market research and analysis; as well as the creation of presentations for investment committees and clients. Before joining LAC, Mr. Nigh attended the University of Detroit Mercy where he received a Bachelor of Science in both Business Administration and Psychology. While at the University of Detroit Mercy, Mr. Nigh was a 2x Captain of the Men’s Division 1 Lacrosse program, a Presidential Ambassador, and a member of the University’s 5-year Strategic Plan Implementation Team.
